I wear a medium or large, depending on fit, so even though the chart indicated large would be too large, I took note that the description suggested ordering up if you’re between sizes, and ordered the large. It is too snug, particularly through the sleeves (though I can still move my arms), hips, and thighs, so keep that in mind when ordering. I find the pockets a little too high, and the openings strangely short, which won’t be an issue once your hands are in them for warmth, or if you’re just using them to hold your key or gloves. Other than that, I really like this coat (it’s too long, at knee length, to call it a jacket). It’s nice and warm. The hood fits me better than most (I think the sherpa lining helps keep it in the right place), and is very cozy. I like the snapping zipper flap, but note that it does not close as high up as I would prefer. It appears to be well made, with no sewing or construction errors. However, the zipper is hard to separate, and I think that may be because it doesn’t open to the correct side for women – perhaps reversing the side of the zipper pull for women isn’t a thing in China, but as zipping and unzipping are things I largely do on autopilot, it’s something that throws me, since I have to pay attention to it when my mind had moved on. This will obviously store well, as it came in a vacuum sealed bag, and was quite compact (but puffed up nicely as I took it out).
